Long-haul
Sustained highway speed at full load. Low rolling resistance and even wear matter most. Retreadable casings pay back over the contract.
Regional and urban
Highway legs with frequent stops, kerbs and tight turns. Scrub resistance, reinforced shoulders and casing durability carry the cost.
Mixed service
Paved road to site access and back. Cut and chip resistance without giving up highway behaviour. The most common wrong specification in the Kingdom is a highway tire on a mixed-service truck.
Off-road
Loaders, dump trucks and graders on unmade ground. Specification starts with the machine, the surface and the tonne-kilometre-per-hour cycle, not with mileage.
